Dick Brown, retired nuclear physicist and UU, and Jim Varani, a UMHC research pathologist and Roman Catholic, both members of the Disarmament Working Group of the Interfaith Council for Peace and Justice, will present their perspectives on how the US and Russia could greatly reduce the continuing threat of nuclear weapons usage. Of the many serious global threats facing us in the 21st Century, this one has the simplest technical, economic and social requirements for a solution. Come and ask questions and help us work toward a solution. One hoped for goal of ours is to activate participation by local religious congregations in this important issue.
