NU SHOOZ Orchestra at the Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts June 22, 2008

On June 22nd, the NU SHOOZ Orchestra will take its set “al fresco” for a 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. set at the 45th-Annual Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts. Taking place in George Rogers Park on State Street in downtown Lake Oswego, other activities at the festival include a juried Craft Faire of 120 booths featuring fine arts crafts, a variety of food vendors, a wine and beer garden, ongoing artisan demonstrations and other family-friendly activities.

NU SHOOZ earned a Gold Record for the album “Poolside” in 1987. Their breakthrough hit, “I Can’t Wait,” continues to be played on radio stations around the globe every 12 minutes! The band has been featured on MTV, VH1 and seminal music programs like American Bandstand, Solid Gold and the UK’s Top of the Pops. They’ve toured with some of the biggest names in show business, including Tina Turner, Billy Ocean and the Pointer Sisters.
