NT LIVE: Complicite’s “A Disappearing Number" October 14, 2010

The exciting new second season of National Theatre Live will bring the best
of the National’s theatre to cinema screens around the world and right here
in the Bay Area to the Lark Theater in Larkspur. The season will launch on
14 October with Complicite's A Disappearing Number live from Theatre Royal
Plymouth. Directed by Simon McBurney. Awards include the Olivier Award for
Best New Play (2008), the Evening Standard Theatre Award for Best Play
(2007) and The Critics’ Circle Theatre Award for Best New Play (2007). This
groundbreaking work embraces the universal relevance of math, which revolves
around the mathematical and spiritual nature of infinity, and becomes the
link between two mathematicians: an established Cambridge professor and a
young, autodidactic genius from India.
