NRH AARC People & Pet Walk a Thon June 13, 2009

This annual Walk a Thon is a fundraiser for the North Richland Hills Animal Adoption & Rescue Center. The money raised goes to help the many homeless animals that come to the Center every year looking for a new loving family.

Participants and their dogs go on a two mile walk starting and ending at the Adoption Center. The walk begins at 8 am with registration beginning at 7:30 am.

After the walk, participants and their family can enjoy a dog agility team exhibition and get a chance to take their dog through the obstacle course. There is also time to go through the 'Doggie Mall' featuring a 'Critter Connection Gift Shop' that benefits the Adoption Center, several area pet related businesses with pet gear and services for sale and a kids' tent with activities for children of all ages.
