Art: HOOD is where the heART is

..."HOOD is where the heART is" is a photo and video project that shows what riding Mt. Hood is like in a very non-traditional way. This project alters standard snowboard premiere format by connecting the gap between the shred and art worlds. This community style event which donates all proceeds to the SNOWDAYS foundation gives anyone who rides Mt. Hood, something to celebrate.

Benefit: SNOWDAYS

SNOWDAYS provides life skills through snowboarding for middle and high school students that come from challenging neighborhoods. By working through challenges on the mountain, students gain self confidence, strengthen friendships, and also have an opportunity to become more aware of their natural surroundings. 100% volunteer!

Music: Bryon Friedman Band

Bryon Friedman is one of those beings. As well as being a World Cup skier and a member of the US Ski Team, Bryon is an exceptional singer/songwriter. He has the gift of ease, with a voice and presence that is timeless. With his new sophomore release “Matchstick Memories.” Bryon and company have crafted a record that in it’s entirety may just join the ranks of a classic.
