It's presidential election time, and incumbent Charles Smith's numbers are not good. His approval rating has tanked, his staff seems to have given up, and he has no money left for television ads. Even worse, his chances for funding his longed-for presidential library are exceedingly slim. In the midst of all this stress, he has to find time to pardon a couple of Thanksgiving turkeys — and this simple PR event inspires Smith to risk it all in attempt to win back public support. With Mamet's characteristic no-holds-barred style, November is a scathingly hilarious take on the state of America today and the lengths to which people will go to win.
