Mouzha Evans discusses the making of the first of a children's book series organized by the Early Discovery Program about living in harmony with the environment and endangered species. The setting of the book is a reflection of the children's small school garden. The children's discussion and interpretation of why we raise butterflies and take care of our compost worms was documented and incorporated into the book. Conceptually unique, this book stands alone by having children actually not only take part in creating the characters of the story but also by coming to the event and joining their teacher in signing the book. Their parents, family members and friends will be there too! Come and meet them and sign up for the next book workshop.
