1903 Hyperion Avenue
Los Angeles, California 90027

A&K first met in South Africa studying abroad and began collaborating, cooking, and crafting memories. They both returned to Los Angeles and continued their education in fine arts at USC.

As both A and K are equally quite short, they have decided to dedicate their first formal showing together to their lack of tallness. However, their new work combines all sorts of materials into a colorful, craft-inspired rumination on the institution of holidays, where repetition is a key tenant in defining ritual. Further, the blurry line of art and craft evokes domestic imagery, further underscoring A&K’s vision of art as a daily, integral part of life.
