Northfield Community Celebration / International Day of Peace September 24, 2006

"Voices of the Past / Voices for the Future:
The Human Cost of Nuclear War" will feature
four Hibakashu, survivors of the bombing
of Hiroshima Aug. 6, 1945.

Following the presentation, there will be a
question/answer session. Greetings from
Mayor Lansing, a presentation of the historical
setting for the Aug. 6 event and its consequences
by historian Robert Entenmann, and a song
by Northfield Youth Choirs will also be on the
program.
