Northeast Educational Longarm Center Charlton Sewing August 24, 2012

Charlton Sewing Center is launching the first of quarterly educational weekend seminars featuring local quilters, invited guests, hands on projects, a featured vendor, and starting in November, a national speaker/teacher. August will feature Linda Ramrath of Inspired Layers who's classes on the Sweet Sixteen will be called collectively - Yes You Can. Marty Richardson of a local quilt guild will present, with hands on opportunity, her techniques of miniature leaves and three dimensional clouds. Our own educator, award winning Diana Loller (her quilt is on display at the Lowell Quilt Museum)will be teaching fill stitches and stain glass work on a long arm as well as Pro-stitcher demonstrations. Owner Cathy Racine will be stationed at all Handiquilter machines providing instruction on unusual threads that can be used. Machines will be brought in for this event. Call the store for registration information.
