“Nordic Landscape” presented by New England String Ensemble & Music Director, Federico Cortese April 12, 2008

Beginning on the fjord carved coastline of Norway with Grieg’s “Holberg Suite”, and ending in the splendor of the archipelago of Sweden with Wirén’s “Serenade for Strings” NESE’s 14th season culminates with a journey to the "Nordic Landscape".

Charismatic Icelandic violinist Judith Ingolfsson is featured on Hallgrimsson’s “Poemi” & Sibelius’ “Humoresque”. Honorary Chairman is Norwegian 4-time gold medal Olympic speed skater, Johann Olav Koss.
