Non Stop Bhangra Celebrates "Vaisakhi"--A Beautiful holiday associated with the harvest and at the core of the folk dance of Bhangra

This is the first year that Vaisakhi has fallen on the same weekend as Non Stop Bhangra, so we are very excited to take the opportunity to celebrate this auspicious occasion. Vaisakhi is observed in Punjab, India as a day of thanksgiving where farmers pay tribute and thank God and Mother Earth for the abundant harvest while praying for future prosperity. The celebration is marked by the joyous music and dance of Bhangra, which tells the story of the agricultural process and the joy of the harvest season. Vaisakhi is a day of feasting and merriment before the beginning of a new, hard and tiring but fruitful season ahead.

As always, the night will begin with the ritual Bhangra dance lesson followed by beautiful dance performances with Dholrhythms Dance Company. The night continues with Non Stop Bhangra DJ's, DJ Jimmy Love and DJ Rav-E alongside dholi's Pavit and Mehul rocking the Dhol Drums. Joining them on decks will be our special guest, DJ Ajit Singh. Beyond dance, Non Stop Bhangra caters to sight and sound with visuals all night by DJ Amar while NSB photographer Odell Hussey captures the experience. So come join the crew for another colorful and vibrant night with great music, friends, gratitude, happy vibes, and non stop dancing.

Whether you are exploring a new culture for the first time or addicted to the music and its essence, this will be one night where you can get away from it all and dance the night away.
