Non Stop Bhangra kicks moves to Public Works in 2012! More Space, Larger Sound, Massive Vibes!

As always the night will kick off with the ritual dance lesson followed by performances with Dholrhythms Dance Company into Non Stop Bhangra DJ sets with residents DJ Jimmy Love, Rav-E plus NSB regular J. Boogie + Pavit on dhol.

Introducing a new format, NSB will now have late night sessions from 1:30 to close where we plan on bridging the gap between Bhangra and the other cutting edge sounds in the new year as we grow NSB! First in this series, we are excited to bring you a Surya Dub Set with Maneesh the Twister and Kush Arora! Mashing up Bhangra with the freshest underground vibes, they plan on keeping the party going late night mixing in Tropical, Dancehall madness with their signature Surya Dub sound.

Imagine a scene from a Bollywood movie smack in the middle of a thumping nightclub---swirling colors, the rhythm of pounding feet, and the relentless energy of brilliant beats-that’s Non Stop Bhangra. Non Stop Bhangra is a non-stop party, featuring dance lessons with Dholrhythms Dance Company, followed by dance performances, live music sets, visuals, live painting, and DJs spinning an eclectic mix of Bhangra, Hip-Hop, Reggae, and Electronica.
