Noche Latina en ICE! December 3, 2009

As a salute to Florida’s vibrant Latino community, Gaylord Palms Resort has created a new tradition – Noche Latina en ICE! The event includes an after-hours exclusive opportunity to see the amazing ICE! attraction, hand carved from two million pounds of ice



A special pre-show will be hosted by a “Latino storyteller,” who will share short stories about Christmas in Puerto Rico and other Latino countries. After the show, visitors will bundle up and enter the “Florida Fridge,” home to the ICE! attraction. Inside, special parrandas music will play throughout the frozen family attraction.



In the post-show area, guests will enjoy a cup of café con leche or cocoa, while mingling. Traditional Latin holiday desserts will be available for purchase, like arroz con dulce, tembleque, and pudin de pan.



Tickets to the event, which go on sale November 1, are $19.99 for adults and $9.99 for children. A portion of the ticket’s proceeds will benefit the new scholarship fund for the Hispanic Business Council of the Kissimmee/Osceola Chamber of Commerce.
