A look at the world's most pressing problems through the eyes of Nobel laureates, NOBELITY combines the insights of nine distinguished Nobelists with a first-person view of world problems and the children who are most affected by them. The laureates of NOBELITY include Desmond Tutu, Wangari Maathai, Jody Williams, Sir Joseph Rotblat and many others.

In conjunction with Student Pugwash USA and The Nobelity Project, the film’s Washington D.C. opening night premiere on Friday, September 8 will be a memorial tribute screening celebrating the life and work of Sir Joseph Rotblat. Having dedicating 50 years of his life to the battle against nuclear proliferation — a mission that was left to him by Albert Einstein — Joseph Rotblat passed away in August 2005, just a few months after filming a cautionary interview with director Turk Pipkin on the increasing dangers of nuclear proliferation. Rotblat’s work continues through the Pugwash Conferences on Science and World Affairs and Student Pugwash USA.

7:00 p.m. Screening
8:30 p.m. Q & A with director Turk Pipkin and Christine Rovner, Executive Director, Student Pugwash USA

Tickets to the screening and Sir Joseph Rotblat tribute are available in advance at www.landmarktheatres.com or at the box office, (202) 452-7672.
