Nissi's Dueling Piano Players October 29, 2009

Mike Cappo and Brian Juan take on the event, Nissi's Dueling Piano Players. Cappo, is a dueling-piano veteran, having worked at two other clubs in Michigan before moving to Boulder to work at the Reef. He started out as a drummer with a degree in percussion, but made the switch to piano and dueling-piano clubs about five years ago. He's known as the consummate musician who can play nearly any request that gets thrown at him. Brian Juan grew up in Vernon, New Jersey. He has worked as a professionalmusician since graduating form the University of Rochester in 1996 with a BAin English. He has dressed as a robot (Sonar, 2000-2003), salsa'ed badly(Chupacabra, 1997-2001), drummed Top 40 (The Reef, 2004-2007), and backed uprising (Otis Taylor, Liza) and fading (best not to mention these) stars.
