The Nightingales
From the Black Country a rare appearance in London for the seminal five piece The Nightingales led by the striking lyricist and frontman Robert Lloyd. With their scratchy guitars and unique sound, John Peel's favourites Nightingales are still one of the best live acts around and a pure example of contemporary rock'n'roll.

Violet Violet
Shouty vocals, angry 'bitchy' lyrics and big punk riffs from this all-female trio from Norwich. Refreshing and charming they also will join Nightingales on their European tour.

London-Manchester based quartet Glassglue have been described as 'the result of a car crash involving Captain Beefheart and Kraftwerk. Minimal art rock, simple lyrics, short songs combined with the theatrical presence of frontman Marcel Stoetzler.
