Night Sky October 9, 2009

Come to McKeever Environmental Learning Center to learn about the night sky. Explore the stars while learning the basics about telescopes and how to use them. This program will be led by Philip Tramdack, Director of Library Services at Slippery Rock University. He has been avid in astronomy since he was a young child. He has logged over 600 observing sessions with his ten inch telescope. He is currently a member of the Oil Region Astronomy Society. Participants will have the opportunity to look at various focal points, while Mr. Tramdack shares with us what we are viewing.
