Nick Swardson started doing stand up comedy in 1996 at the coy age of 19. Within his first year of stand up he was chosen to perform at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival as one of the top new comedians in the country. After that he worked the road steadily developing his style and then continued his career in New York city and became a regular at Carolines, the Comic Strip and Luna Lounge. In the year 2000 Nick reached his biggest achievement in stand up when he was given his half hour comedy special on Comedy Central. He was 22 years old at the time (the youngest to ever achieve that). After being one of the highest rated specials they did Nick's career took off from there. He moved to Los Angeles where he made appearances on The Tonight Show, Conan O'Brien, The Late Late Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live. In the summer of 2003 Nick hit another milestone when a script he wrote with Jamie Kennedy (Malibu's Most Wanted) was green lit by Warner Bros. The movie went on to triple it's cost in the box office and moved Nick to a new level. Today Nick is currently developing several projects with Adam Sandler and his Happy Madison productions. He has also continued to hone his stand up and has become one of the best most original acts in the country. He has also become a regular on Comedy Central's Reno 911!, where he plays the part of the prostitute on rollerskates.
