Unabashedly retro, Parchman Farm have somehow tapped into a sound often cited but rarely attempted: heavy psyche. Parchman Farm encapsulates a time when Vanilla Fudge and Blue Cheer were the respective kings of East and West Coasts, when vocalists aspired to Leslie West's bellows and Rob Tyner's gruff wails and guitarists concoct the craziest, longest drawn out riffs they can think of.
