New York Singles Night at the Museum! September 3, 2010

Join Meet Market Adventures and other New York Singles as we explore exhibitions at The Museum of Modern Art, "a place that fuels creativity, ignites minds, and provides inspiration. With extraordinary and the world's finest collection of modern and contemporary art."

Among the exhibitions we will be viewing are “Marina Abromovic: The Artist Is Present which explores over three decades of ephemeral and challenging media-based work by this self-described "grandmother of performance art," and includes an original performance piece as well as the first live "re-performances" of the artist’s works in a museum setting.

In the Prints and Illustrated Books Galleries, Picasso: Themes and Variations gathers some one hundred works from MoMA's collection that trace the creative process of this modern master through his experimentation with printmaking.

On the third floor, Rising Currents: Projects for New York's Waterfront which presents five proposals, developed by architectural teams during a seven-week residency program at P.S.1, to address the urgent challenges faced by New York City as a result of sea level rise and climate change” and so much more.
