The practice of using a bow to shoot arrows has historically been used in hunting and combat, however in more recent times; Archery has become a precision sport. It has also been romanticized in stories such as Robin Hood – the hero many of us picture when we hear the word Archery. Spend an evening with Meet Market Adventures and other adventurous singles discovering the ancient sport of archery.

After walking us through the safety rules and how to handle the equipment, the professional coaches at Queens Archery will introduce us to the basics of the sport, such as proper shooting form and sighting as well as the mental aspects of this technical sport. Then we’ll pair up and challenge ourselves to successfully hit the coveted bull’s eye or compete against each other to see who has the most accurate shot!

So whether you enjoyed reading about Robin Hood’s exploits as a child or just want learn some new skills while meeting and having fun with other like-minded singles, this is an adventure you don’t want to miss!
