New York Singles Hike Canopus Lake May 31, 2010

Join Meet Market Adventures and other single outdoor enthusiasts, for a fun-filled day of hiking around Canopus Lake. We follow the Appalachian Trail for 5 miles as it winds through the forest in this beautiful state park. The path is rocky, but not too steep. We will clamber up an outcrop to our lunch spot: a high point with a splendid vista overlooking all of Canopus Lake. We'll see gliding birds of prey and birches swaying on the peak. We will stop for lunch at the pristine lakeshore. The price includes: round trip transportation, park admission, guides, prizes and taxes.
