Opening Reception for the New York Korean Film Festival – 8/21

Celebrate Korean cinema with cinephiles, stars and industry insiders at the opening reception of the 2008 New York Korean Film Festival at 6:00 PM on Thursday, August 21 at TheTimesCenter in Midtown Manhattan.

Cocktails and conversation will be followed by an exclusive screening of the new historical drama Hwang Jin-Yi, with director Chang Youn-hyun and actor Yoo Ji-tae, at 7:30 PM. Also, Korean-American actor and star of Harold and Kumar, John Cho, will be our special guest host of the Opening Reception.
