New York Festival of Song: Amores Nuevos April 15, 2007

Over the past several seasons the NYFOS has established itself as one of the most popular annual performances at the Center. This year, artistic directors Michael Barrett and Steven Blier envelop us in the songs of Brazil, Mexico and Cuba. Amores Nuevos is a Latin American delight featuring an ensemble of world-class performers and an exciting program of rarely heard art song by Guastavino, Buchardo, Aguirre, Montsalvatge and more.

Artistic director Steven Blier coaches UM voice students on all aspects of song performance on Monday, April 16 at 10AM in the Gildenhorn Recital Hall.

Tickets are $35, and $7 with a valid student ID.
