New York Evening of Interactive Painting and Wine April 14, 2010

The hottest new trend on the east coast is Painting-Your-Own Pottery at Color Me Mine Tribeca. Color Me Mine Tribeca is located in the Tribeca area of Manhatttan, "The Triangle Below Canal", 116 Franklin Street between West Broadway and Church Street. Upon entering the studio you will see a spacious studio with a full wall of white bisque, square tables covered with brown butcher paper, and the sounds of Pandora playing in the background. Tonight's assignment will be to express your creative side, mingle among like-minded folks, and paint pottery!

At this studio we will be given an introduction to the concept of painting-your-own pottery and the various techniques that can be utilized to create your own masterpiece. After the icebreaker, complete with complimentary wine, we will choose the pieces we will paint and break into our "first flirt group" and commence painting. During this time you will have the opportunity to be a real New Yorker and order in food to the studio to tame your after work hunger. An hour later we will reshuffle the group and resume mingling/painting for the remainder of the evening, eventually leading up to the finale of group presentations of your masterpiece.
