Moderate Hike

Join Meet Market Adventures and other single outdoor enthusiasts, for a fun-filled day of hiking Tom Jones Mountain. We follow a series of trails known for its numerous lakes and impressive views. This hike is notable for some steep and rocky sections that provide spectacular views. There is a wide variety of fascinating vegetation and terrain along our loop route.

We will take a moderate 6-mile hike to a rocky mountaintop, then down to a beautiful lake where we will swim and have lunch. The day concludes with a hike out to a high point and a great lookout.

The price includes: round trip transportation, park admission, guides, prizes and taxes.

BRING: Your lunch, plenty of water, backpack/day pack, swim suit and towel.

Wear: Weather-appropriate athletic clothing, comfortable athletic pants (not jeans), hiking boots (or athletic shoes) as well as an extra pair of socks. As we may encounter wet trails, we strongly recommend HIKING BOOTS, or trail runners, not tennis shoes.
