Looking for unique and fabulous fun this New Year’s Eve? Come join Ravenchase Adventures for the Third Annual Quest for Father Time adventure race and after-party!
This New Year’s Eve, more than champagne and midnight kisses are at stake if you and your teammates don’t unwind the mystery of Father Time before midnight. Being a bitter old crank, Father Time has planned to stop time altogether, locking us in 2008 forever! In this battle against Time’s shifting sands, only your wit and will can guarantee our sure passage from ’08 to ’09 and your access to the timeless after-party.
Every year, Old Father Time does his best to keep his gnarled fingers wrapped around time’s hourglass, preventing the change from one year to the next. Though stubborn, Time considers himself fair and has thus created a wild, intellectual challenge full of clues around town for you and your team to solve.
With a healthy dose of irony, you and your teammates must race against the clock to guarantee that time’s forward progress will continue. At once fighting for and against time, you and your fellow chrononauts will test your mental courage and intellectual prowess against not only that of Father Time, but also that of the other competitors.
Ravenchase staff will personally greet each group at the starting point of the Quest, explain the rules of the game and give each team a hand made treasure map, clues on parchment scrolls and a few helpful gadgets. Using your map, clues and gadgets, you will find Father Time’s clues and secrets hidden throughout downtown Nashville. Solve the clues as quickly as possible, and get to the after-party in time to celebrate your success and welcome the arrival of 2009 in high style. The top three teams will be awarded Father Time’s fabulously tacky prizes, and everyone will gain admission to an after-party which includes a free round of drinks, champagne toast, hors d’oevres and live entertainment!
We suggest teams of 3-5 players—so rally your friends, family, coworkers and anyone potentially affected by the permanent stoppage of time. Once registered, you and your team will receive Father Time’s first clue (revealing the Quest’s start location) in an email no later than December 28, 2008.
Drinks, good cheer, tales of glory and nothing less than our continued progress in the fourth dimension depend upon your successful completion of Father Time’s challenge. Rally your team and register now!
