SISTER HAZEL 10:30 - 11:45pm & Midnight - 12:15am

For Atlanta natives Sister Hazel, it's always been about the music, but over the course of their decade-plus music making career, it has expanded beyond that to incorporate so much more. This lifestyle is defined by Sister Hazel fans and their sense of community. With fan interaction so important to all the band members, it is certainly understandable that Sister Hazel is equally serious about the charity work that they do. The band has raised over half a million dollars through concerts and silent auctions of handwritten lyrics. "We've been fortunate with our success," says Block. "As a band, we've always put writing songs that we believe in, putting on powerful live shows, and being passionate about our craft at the top." Following on the heels of the successful "Absolutely" album (the band's sixth studio record), fans have had their requests answered twice in 2007: first with the release of a b-sides and rarities disc entitled "BAM!" during the summer, and with the release of a holiday album in September entitled "Santa's Playlist."

The song Wild Thing was co-written by Marvin Young, better known as Young MC, as was the second single smash, "Funky Cold Medina." The album "Loc-ed After Dark" became the second rap release ever to top the pop charts and one of the most popular of all time. Over the years Tone has perfirmed with many artists such as N'Sync, Britney Spears, Destiny's Child, Boyz II Men, Naughty By Nature, Coolio, Young MC, Sugar Hill Gang, Digital Underground, Sir Mix-A-Lot and many others. In 2009, Tone continues to tour many festivals, colleges, clubs and corporate events across America. PUNCHLINE COMEDY LOUNGE - LEARNING CENTER 9-10pm & 10:30-11:30pm - Sponsored by Punchline

DAVE STONE

Based in Atlanta, Dave has been developing his sarcastic and irreverent brand of comedy in clubs and truckstops throughout the southeast and east coast of America since before he could walk. He has shared stages with such comedy vets as Robert Klein, Patton Oswalt, Brian Posehn, Doug Benson and Greg Giraldo, among others. Dave is a co-founding member of The Beards of Comedy Tour, which may or may not be appearing in a dive bar near you. Dave sometimes makes funnies on the radio as a regular guest, pun intended, on The Regular Guys Show in Atlanta and Dallas. Dave asks that you watch his clips, come to his shows and tell your friends about him, so that one day bill collectors might leave him alone. Dave enjoys pretending someone else wrote this.

TJ YOUNG

TJ Young is nestled securely in a long line of great comedians. If he were more of a morning person, he could’ve gotten a better spot near the FRONT of that line...but who can get up before 1pm, honestly. With a background in improv and sketch comedy, TJ brings his clever wit and and boyish charm to the stand-up stage. Sometimes playing dumb about the obvious nature of things and other times turning simple, everyday observations on their ear, TJ’s an audience favorite at clubs and colleges nationwide. A 2008 Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival Award Winner, TJ is the creator and host of the Loft Comedy Showcase in Athens, Georgia each month. His easy going, but engaging style has quickly made him one of comedy’s newest rising stars.

MIA JACKSON

After graduating from the University of Georgia with a degree in Speech Communication she started recording her thoughts, ideas, and life adventures in a comedy notebook and soon hit the local comedy scene. Mia's energetic conversational style leaves the audience feeling as if they know her, and they often wonder if her stories are fact or fiction. Smart, funny, and versatile, Mia entertains all type of crowds, whether it's corporate, colleges, or comedy clubs.
PATTON SMITH

Well I grew up quick and I grew up mean, and whatever else Johnny Cash said that sounds cool. My story is like anyone else’s really. I was born at the age of 12 to a pair of single parents. It is hard being a single parent. Especially when there is another single parent around constantly trying to have sex with you. I grew up in Tuscaloosa, AL, where I began wearing socks at an early age. Before you know it, I was typing paragraphs about myself on myspace. At the age of 26, I decided that I should have been doing stand-up comedy for awhile now. Why? Because I’m never serious. And because I would very much like to earn a living being unserious. I would also like to earn a living making up words. Man, that would be swerific.
