New World Wine and Food Festival celebrates San Antonio as a premier wine and food destination and an important culinary and cultural gateway to Mexico and the rest of Latin America ? in other words, from Texas to Tierra del Fuego. But the festival doesn't stop there. Through foods, wines and the people who produce them, it opens doors to New World regions as far-flung as Argentina, Chile, Australia and New Zealand as it also showcases the full spectrum of Texas products ? from farmhouse goat cheeses to sophisticated salsas. So, break out your boots and tuxes, get a passport for your palate, and make reservations now. This non-profit event benefits local San Antonio charities.
