New Sounds Live: the 23 Constellations of Joan Miro October 28, 2008

Inspired by the art of Spanish painter Joan Miro, percussionist/composer Bobby Previte wrote this work, which features one movement for each of Miro's 23 'Constellations.' Hailed for his electrifying drumming and stunning compositions, Previte is joined by an ensemble and special guest harpist Zeena Parkins in this U.S. premiere multimedia event.
