CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

Aumentare Productions is inviting Vancouver playwrights and other theatre artists to submit original One Act Plays for possible inclusion in THE NEW PLAYWRIGHTS PROJECT. The winning playwrights will be involved in an exciting collaborative process and will receive a production of their play in 2007 which will include a professional director, stage manager, costume, lighting and sound designer.

Aumentare Productions' NEW PLAYWRIGHTS PROJECT seeks to nurture and develop talented new playwrights from Greater Vancouver and create opportunities for some of our city's exciting new acting talent.

We are interested in original One Act Plays that are set in Vancouver and explore the themes of Love, Death and the After Life. So choose your favorite Vancouver location and start the creativity flowing. Style, genre and modes of expression are up to the writers’ imagination. Plays can explore comedy, tragedy, and everything in between. We are open to plays that tell new stories in new ways.
