They look so delicious! But the new items in The Morikami’s Museum Store only look like cupcakes and sweets. Upon closer inspection, a buyer will find that they are cleverly designed hand towels and magnets.

Chef Patissier Tadayoshi Iwaki carefully executed every detail to make the cakes look exactly like the real thing. The cake is 100 percent cotton; the fruit toppings are magnetic memo holders. Each ‘cake’ comes beautifully wrapped and won’t add one calorie to your home décor.
“These will make great gifts for the home or for someone who is on a diet,” said Store Manager Sallie Chisholm. “They are also perfect for baby or wedding showers as well as hostess, office or thank you gifts.”

- Cupcake in Vanilla with Strawberry or Chocolate with Cherry includes guest towel (13 ¾" x 13 1/3") & fruit magnet; $7.50
- Roll Cut Cake in Chocolate or Strawberry includes washcloth (7 ¾" square) and guest towel (13 ¾" x 13 1/3") with cherry magnet; $9

The Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens, open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, is owned and operated by the Palm Beach County Parks & Recreation Department, in partnership with The Morikami Museum, Inc.
