New Media & Technology Conference February 5, 2010

By popular demand, a follow-up to the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce's 2009 Social Media Conference. The New Media & Technology Conference is the beginning of a new series of "Emerging Ideas" conferences offered by the Chamber.

Interactive seminars will provide an intensive review of strategies and tools that businesses can use to reach out to customers and grow their bottom line.

This all-day event features a keynote presentation by Shashi Bellamkonda of Network Solutions and a closing session presented by Jimmy Gardner of Tech Cocktail. Breakout sessions for beginning, intermediate, and advanced participants will cover topics such as Twitter, Facebook, email campaigns, blogging, and more. An optional bonus session offers the opportunity to demonstrate and discuss new applications, including Google Wave, Posterous, and Hoot Suite. Those with little or no experience will have as much to gain as those who are skilled users! Lunch will be provided.
