1015 East Clay Street
Richmond, Virginia 23219

History Center Director Bill Martin leads a tour of the Bellevue neighborhood, which developed in the 1920’s and 30’s a few miles north of downtown Richmond as a result of growing retail activity on Macarthur Avenue just south of Bellevue Avenue. The increasingly popular automobile contributed to the growth of neighborhoods such as Bellevue on Richmond’s north side. Meet at Stir Crazy Café, 4015 Macarthur Avenue.
