New Casavant Fréres Pipe Organ Dedication September 29, 2012

A service to celebrate the Feast of Saint Michael and All Angels and the dedication of a new Casavant Freres pipe organ and the newly restored chancel, with the St. John’s Choir, organ and brass, will be conducted at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Georgetown, 3240 O St. NW.

Casavant Frères is a prominent Canadian company in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec, which has been building fine pipe organs since 1879. As of 2008, they have produced over 3800 organs.
