NEW 4 Levels Gymnastics Classes in Los Alamitos January 3, 2010

GYMNASTIC CLASS SELECTION AND DESCRIPTION Each 50 minute class includes a 10-minute warm-up period followed by age and skill appropriate training by experienced gymnasts. Diamond Dynamites (Coed) 3 - 7yrs. Introduction to gymnastics. In a playful environment learn skills that help promote balance and coordination, such as forward and backward rolls. Mini Stars (Coed) 8 - up. Beginning gymnastics. Enjoy learning the basic fundamentals of rolls and introduction to the various gymnastics apparatus. Tue 5:00 - 5:50 p.m. Thu 4:00 - 4:50 p.m. Super Dynamites (Coed) 3 - 7 yrs. Develop strength, confidence, and have fun learning skills such as handstands and bridges. Must be able to do a forward roll. Stars (Coed) 8 - up. Continue learning new skills such as cartwheels, handstands, and round-offs. Gain coordination and strength in a positive learning environment. Must be able to do forward and backward rolls. Tue 4:00 - 4:50 p.m. Thu 5:00 - 5:50 p.m. Mega Dynamites (Coed) 3 - 7yrs. Develop your skills on bars, beam, and vault. Learn the fundamentals of cartwheels and round-offs. Must be able to hold a handstand. Super Stars (Coed) 8 - up. Advance in your skills on the bars, beam, vault, and floor. Learn how to do both front and back walk-overs. Must be able to do cartwheels and hold handstands. Mon 4:00 - 4:50 p.m. Wed 4:00 - 4:50 p.m. Big Dynamites (Coed) 3 - 7yrs. Progress in your skills on the various apparatus. Learn walk-overs on floor and intermediate skills on bars, beam, and vault. Must be able to do cartwheels and round-offs. Shining Stars (Coed) 8 - up. Enjoy learning new and harder skills such as font and back hand springs. Continue developing your apparatus skills in this fast paced class. Must be able to do a standing bridge. Mon 4:00 - 4:50 p.m. Wed 5:00 - 5:50 p.m. Classes are once a week. After you enter the gate continue straight ahead until the first stop sign. At that intersection you will see a helicopter on your left and a tank on your right. Make a sharp left on Saratoga Ave and left on Valley Forge Ave. The Gymnastics center is to the left of the Olympic Pool.
