Myq Kaplan has appeared at the New Faces show of the 2009 Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal and on Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham”. He was voted Best Local Comedian in the Boston Phoenix, and won March Comedy Madness 2009 at Caroline’s in New York. Myq was a finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival and Comedy Central's Open Mic Fights. He was named Boston University's Funniest Student and featured at the inaugural Great American Comedy Festival. His CD Vegan Mind Meld is on sale on iTunes and his joke “Jews and Sea Creatues” was animated and can be seen on Funny or Die. He most recently competed on Last Comic Standing and ranked in the top 5. He spent about 5 months on the Last Comic Standing tour.
