Singer/songwriter Neil Sedaka gained popularity in the pre-Beatles, late '50s and early '60s with such hits as 'Stairway to Heaven,' 'Calendar Girl,' 'Next Door to an Angel, ' 'Happy Birthday, Sweet Sixteen' and 'Breaking Up Is Hard to Do.'
