NeighborWoods Tree Planting Event May 6, 2006

Riverwest residents and volunteers will come together to plant trees at several residential locations in the area, as a part of the National NeighborWoods Tree Planting Program. This event is one of several of re-greening efforts throughout the month of May in the greater Milwaukee area. In partnership with Greening Milwaukee, a member of the Alliance of Community Trees (ACT), NeighborWoods is a national effort to replant entire communities and tend shade trees in neglected urban areas.
