Nearly Trapped: Design in the Age of Climate Consequences March 3, 2009

As part of its 150th anniversary celebration, The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art will present the inaugural lecture of The Institute for Sustainable Design on Tuesday, March 3, at 6:30pm in The Great Hall of The Cooper Union. Dr. David W. Orr, a Paul Sears Distinguished Professor of Environmental Studies and Politics in the Environmental Studies Program at Oberlin College and James Marsh Professor at large at the University of Vermont will be speaking about his pioneering work on environmental literacy in higher education and his recent work in ecological design.
