NCRC/ARC Track Day (Thunderhill) November 18, 2006

The American Racing Club and Northern California Racing Club will share this weekend to make a fun-filled event for everyone at Thunderhill Park in Willows California. For the lower speed groups, this event will be a street school with passing only safe zones. The advanced groups will run with more open passing rules. No racing, this is for learning and having fun, and a safe dose of competition. These events are open to all ARC/NCRC club members. So whether you're a beginner or an advanced driver, come join us for a day at the track! On Saturday we'll run the bypass, and on Sunday the Cyclone - both counter-clockwise. If you are a beginner, and expect to have instruction, please make sure to note it during your registration in advance of the track day as it is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

For the ARC racers, this will be the last race weekend of the 2006 season, and include one race per day. ARC Racers should register for the event at the ARC web site.

We are also planning an ARC Race School this weekend, assuming we get adequate registration. So if you're interested in the school, please register ASAP so we can ensure good attendance.

We'll have open track and driver's education sessions, as well as a Time Trial on Saturday, and a Relay Race on Sunday. Please sign up for these in advance during the registration process, if you're interested.

We will provide lunch, through the Thunderhill grill for your dining pleasure.

Expect a fun atmosphere with a few more amenities than our usual events. Not only is this a full weekend event giving you tons of track time, but we're providing coffee in the morning and lunch.

ARC Racers and ARC Race School entrants should register for this event at the ARC site.

We are currently accepting early-bird sign-ups for this event on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost is $260 for one day, $460 for the weekend for members. Non-members add $10 per day. The early-bird price will increase by $35 after Oct 28..
