About the Speaker:

Dr. Nair has over 40 years of experience in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry and has served at various positions such as Director, Chairman and Managing Director. Dr. Nair also served as the President of Indian Drug Manufacturers' Association. Currently, he is managing the IPR firm Gopakumar Nair Associates, GNA Patent Gurukul, a patent training institute, and serves as the Honorary Chairman of GNAnLeX Hermeneutics Pvt. Ltd. Apart from that he serves as an independent director on the boards of several companies. Dr. Nair is also on the editorial board on various publications like Indian Drugs, IDMA Bulletin, Indian Express's Express Pharma Pulse among others. He has also published numerous articles in popular technical and scientific magazines.
Dr. Nair has had a long association with NCL. He did his Ph.D in organic chemistry at NCL, and was awarded the degree in 1967. Currently, he serves as a consultant (IPR) with NCL. His firm Gopakumar Nair Associates supports NCL in patenting and other intellectual property related work.
