We are pleased to inform you that Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal is celebrating Golden Jubilee in the year 2007. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering is organizing a National Conference on Knowledge-Based Computing Systems and Frontier Technologies (NCKBFT 07) at the institute during 19-20 February, 2007 as part of year long celebration.

The theme of the conference is “Intelligent Systems and their benefits to society”. The conference is an attempt to understand the existing and potential contributions of AI and frontier technologies and their impact on the quality of life particularly in the societies of developed and developing worlds. The key objective of the conference is to bring together the available critical mass of KB & FT experts in India in order to share and exchange the latest development in these domains and to develop visions for the future. It thereby aims at initiating academic & Industrial research requirements in the field of KB & FT.May I request you to give wide publicity about this conference among your faculty, research scholars & PG students and encourage them to attend the conference by contributing their research papers.
