The Navy Band Jazz Combo, made up of members of the Navy Band's premiere jazz ensemble the Commodores, emphasizes the role jazz played in world diplomacy during the Kennedy Administration. This program focuses on Willis Connover's Voice of America program, and the contributions of the Jazz Ambassadors trips of Duke Ellington, Bennie Goodman, and Louis Armstrong.
