San Francisco---In September, Public Glass will host new works by glass artist Dean Bensen in the show, “Nature’s Footprints.” This is a solo show exhibiting a collection of Dean’s more recent works.

In “Nature’s Footprints,” he builds upon the concept of his glass tree sculptures, and expands beyond the boundaries of environmental awareness and beauty. He delves deeper into the cycles of nature and the footprints, or historical markers, it creates as it evolves. He therefore expounds upon his earlier themes of environmental preservation, to highlight the cycles and characteristics that make nature not only beautiful, but awe-inspiring. In doing so, he provokes our curiosity, to develop a deeper understanding of the workings of nature, and the many miracles it holds within.

“Nature’s Footprints” will be on view from September 1st - September 28th 2008 at The Public Glass Gallery.

Public Glass is located at 1750 Armstrong Ave., San Francisco, Ca. 94124 in the Bay View district.
