Nature Walk + Fish Hatchery / Aquarium Visit August 21, 2011

ALL AGES WELCOMED ~ Kid Friendly event,

Meet in the one and only parking Lot at 12pm First we will visit the 14-acre preserve with marshes, ponds and woodland. The preserve's wildlife includes opossum, red fox, flying squirrels, as well as several species of turtles and frogs walk is 1/2 mile of marked trails,

THEN ... we will learn about the freshwater ecosystems at the largest living collection of New York State freshwater reptiles, fishes and amphibians. Tour two aquarium buildings and eight outdoor ponds, feed the hungry trout, and try out the “Catch & Keep” fishing.

BRING LUNCH and WATER!
After our walk, we will picnic at the tables outside. *No food/drink is available for purchase Cost for event: $5 paid to organizer for Administration fees for organizing the event. OK to pay CASH at the event. Tour of Fish Hatchery/ Aquarium 1:30pm - 3pm after our Nature Tour we will break for lunch, enjoy a tour of the Cold Spring Harbor Fish Hatchery & Aquarium
*There is separate discounted group fee of additional $5
(regular price is $6) to tour the aquarium.
