Natural Selection March 13, 2008

Originally formed in 1996 by vocalist Alesia Dessau as a straight-ahead jazz combo, Natural Selection has progressed over the past eight years to include funk, soul, R&B, hip-hop, and rock into its sound. The Laura Cheadle band can now be found performing in various venues and clubs in the Philadelphia and New York areas. The Laura Cheadle band is a very tight and funky band that always gets a crowd.
