National Veterans Day Service June 27, 2008

Dedication of the Cenotaph Choir Loft and Official National Veterans’ Day service.

Blackpool leads the nation in a service to Honour and Unite All Who Served at the newly-restored Grade II listed War Memorial.

Blackpool welcomes Veterans’, their families and friends from all over the UK and abroad in this service of celebration of Ex Servicemen and Women, not only for what they have done for our Nation in the past, but for what they can can bring to all our futures.

Please note, as this is a service of celebration, no wreaths will be laid during the service.There will an act of remembrance marked this will be marked by a 2 minute silence.
