National Trails Day w/ Forest Park Conservancy

Pitch in and join REI as we host American Hiking Society's 17th Annual National Trails Day along with our long time partners the Forest Park Conservancy and Portland Parks and Recreation. Since 1998, REI has celebrated National Trails Day by bringing volunteers to Forest Park. This year's projects include; building crib walls, bridges, trail maintenance and restoration.

What to Bring: Gloves, water, snacks. It is recommended that you wear long pants and dress for the weather.

8:30 - 9:00 Registration/Meet and Eat
9:00 Introductions and Safety talk
12:00 Thank you and Raffle

REI will start your day with a continental breakfast. To reduce waste, bring your own cup/mug. All volunteers will receive an REI Volunteer t-shirt and our workd day will end with sweepstakes and
A sweepstakes will end the work day where volunteers are eligible to win prizes from REI, Merrell and other NTD sponsors.

National Trails Day is the largest and only nationwide trails and outdoor celebration designed to promote healthy lifestyles, connect the public with trials in the local community, and build partnerships for long term stewardship of our valuable trail systems.
